Administrative Volunteer
As an Administrative Volunteer with Girl Get Up Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about empowering girls of color. Responsibilities may include managing email correspondence, scheduling meetings, updating documents, supporting event logistics, maintaining digital files, and assisting with donor and volunteer communications. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to ensure smooth internal operations, helping us maximize our impact in the community. Volunteer Engagement Chair Volunteer
The Volunteer Engagement Chair plays a key leadership role on the board by overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention of volunteers who support the mission and programs of Girl Get Up Inc. This individual will develop and implement strategies to build a strong volunteer base, coordinate volunteer appreciation efforts, and ensure that volunteers feel supported, equipped, and aligned with the organization’s values. Working closely with staff and fellow board members, the Volunteer Engagement Chair helps create a culture of service and sisterhood by fostering meaningful connections between volunteers and the communities we serve. This role is ideal for someone who is people-centered, organized, and passionate about empowering others to contribute their time and talents toward uplifting girls of color.

Fundraising & Development Chair
The Fundraising & Development Chair leads the strategic planning and execution of fundraising initiatives to support the sustainability and growth of Girl Get Up Inc. This board member is responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners, as well as overseeing individual giving campaigns, grant opportunities, and special fundraising events. The Chair will work closely with the Executive Director and fellow board members to ensure that development efforts align with the organization's mission and long-term vision. Ideal for someone with a passion for youth empowerment, this role requires creativity, relationship-building skills, and a strong commitment to ensuring that every girl has the resources she needs to rise, lead, and thrive.
