My decision to serve on the board of a women’s empowerment organization is deeply tied to my personal values and my professional training. In my academic and career journey, I’ve studied how public systems shape women’s lives—and how advocacy, policy, and community-based leadership can expand women’s access to opportunity, safety, and self-determination.
I have seen the ways in which structural barriers hinder women’s voices, choices, and futures. I’ve also witnessed the transformative power that emerges when women are supported through mentorship, resources, and community. Serving on this board allows me to combine my lived experiences with my professional expertise to help build those support systems and strengthen the pathways that lift women up.
Ashley is deeply committed to supporting organizations that amplify women’s leadership, shift narratives around womanhood and power, and create spaces where all women can step into their fullest selves.
When women rise, communities rise with them. Serving on this board is one way I can help create a world where women feel supported, seen, and unapologetically powerful.
